Future Energy Oakville (FEO) is pleased to announce the appointment of Wayne Steffler as its Interim Executive Director, effective immediately.
Wayne has extensive experience in bringing structure and discipline to institutions and leading through periods of uncertainty with strategic and tactical management. Most recently, Wayne served as Treasurer of Future Energy Oakville. This experience and in depth knowledge of FEO will allow him to advance FEO’s strategies quickly.
Prior to this role, Wayne was Vice President, Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer at Sheridan College. Wayne led a dynamic community of professionals in the Facilities and Sustainable Infrastructure, Finance, Information Technologies, Risk Management, Human Resources, and Business Services areas. Wayne has been an instrumental collaborator with educators, students, governments, communities, business and institutional leaders for more than 20 years. He has led many progressive and innovative projects including major capital acquisitions and financing, major implementations of technology, budget process and design strategies, and business improvements.

As interim executive director, Wayne will work closely with the Board of Directors, and community stakeholders to support the Town’s Community Energy Strategy. He will also work to strengthen FEO’s financial sustainability and to expand our impact in the community.
